Vivienne Westwood Collaboration
Vivienne Westwood 2024
In February 2024, I received an unexpected email from a representative at Vivienne Westwood Ltd. They asked if I’d be interested in designing hose for their Paris show: Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Autumn–Winter 2024–2025.
Once I realised it wasn’t a hoax, I jumped into designing two pairs of split diamond hose to complement Fraser tartans. The deadline was tight—they’d only discovered my work late in the process—but I slipped into a “just do what you do” mindset and got to work.
Family and friends were buzzing with excitement, though it hadn’t fully sunk in for me yet. After a flurry of emails, shared images, and design ideas, the two pairs of hose emerged—one to match Pink Fraser, the other Hunting Fraser.
Throughout the process, my good friend Sarah Emmerson joined me to document everything with her brilliant photography. She followed me as I sourced the right shades and crafted the hose from start to finish.
In the end, the Pink Fraser hose made it to the catwalk, beautifully complementing a tailored Hunting Fraser outfit. Seeing my work on that stage was surreal—and a proud moment I won’t forget.
